La rota del primo moto arà da destra due denti per movere le due calcule; e da sinistra ar&agarve; uno solo dente per movere la ruffianella; la quale ruffianella arà 6 denti di mezza oncia dall'uno stremo di dente all'altro; e la terza rota mossa dalla detta ruffianella arà 12 denti di simili inttervalli e lunghezza di que' della ruffianella.

where the motion begins.
Beneath is the intermediary
wheel that enables the third
one to turn in the same
direction as the first. Along
the top margin, going
towards the left, are the
treadles that raise and lower
the threads of the warp. The
first wheel appears again on
the left of the sheet together
with a buffer device.
Beneath can be seen two
shuttles, a bobbin and a
spring.
