THE LEONARDO LIBRARY IN VINCI

The Biblioteca Leonardiana, the Leonardo Library is today the centre for all the complete and highly specialized records of everything that has been published all over the world on Leonardo da Vinci's work. It has been a standard reference for both Italian and foreign scholars and research students for a great number of years and came into being thanks to the drive and the foresight of those who, despite initial difficulties, were able to perceive the revival of the scientific study of Leonardo's genius and were in a position to ensure that Vinci would become the only documentation centre of its kind in the world.
